Meet Our Founder
Thara Kodandaramachandra
Dr.Thara was born in Karnataka, India, she developed an early interest in Holistic medicine which led her to study Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Bangalore, India. She specialized in Panchakarma from R.A. Podar College, Mumbai, India. She is also a Certified Perfect Health Instructor from Chopra Center, California, and also a Board Certified Esthetician.
Dr.Thara worked in various hospitals and health retreats in India including Indus Valley Ayurvedic Care (IVAC) located in Mysore,India. She has also worked at Soukya, a world famous Ayurvedic Holistic retreat center at Bangalore, India frequented by world famous celebrities. She migrated to the United States in 2005 and worked with Best Selling Celebrity Author, Doctor and Physician Dr. Deepak Chopra at the Chopra Center, New York till 2011. Dr.Thara moved to Virginia in 2011 where she worked as the Director of Parma Spa, Vienna, VA till 2021. After observing a need for skincare services, Dr.Thara became a Board Certified Esthetician.
Dr.Thara has conducted various workshops and given lectures on Holistic Health care and Ayurveda. Dr.Thara moved back to New Jersey in 2021 and lives in Fortlee , New Jersey. In her spare time, she loves to cook and enjoys traveling. She joined the Vaidya Center of Integrative Medicine in 2022 and teaches Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Ayurvedic Practitioner Courses at the Institute for the Advancement of Ayurvedic Sciences.
